Getting Athletes vs. Crohn’s up and running!

As many of you are aware, we have been working hard on getting Athletes vs. Crohn’s up and running. This is an organization co-founded by Noah Weber and Larry Nance Jr. As part of the process we are putting together a Board of Advisors. Our hope is that the Board of Advisors will be a group that can offer advice and expertise in not only organizing events and fund raising, but in various voluntary roles to help us accomplish our goals, so stay tuned for the names of Board members!

In addition, we will be forming a junior board to give children a way to participate. We would love to have any of your children involved.

Our first event will be a 3 on 3 basketball tournament held on Friday night, June 2nd – watch this space, more details coming!

Thank you so much in advance.

We are really excited to get A vs. C off the ground and hope to have a meaningful impact. Looking forward to working with you.

  1. What an awesome idea for an organization! I was a college athletes myself, then I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease and I stopped playing hockey competitively. I feel better now than I ever have before, and I look to improve my physical health every day, as well as my athleticism. Now a days I like to play golf, some days I play great, others not so much. But I love it because it gives me an opportunity to tap into my competitive spirit! I look forward to actively following this foundation, donate when possible, and hopefully connect and feel inspired from fellow athletes with Crohn’s or Colitis.
